The company was maturing and its leadership team was looking for some additional strategy marketing guidance as it entered its next phase of growth. The COO reached out to our team to see if we could serve as interim chief marketing officer to work with the company’s talented in-house marketing team and take their marketing strategy to the next level.
Our team jumped at the opportunity to work with such a great company and talented marketing team. We partnered with the executive and marketing teams to execute the following mission critical priorities:
Review the lead generation marketing program and refine the cadence and content for optimal performance
Do a deeper dive into data the company already had from customer surveys to analyze what we could learn to inform the go-forward marketing strategy
Develop a strategic marketing plan for each of MasteryPrep’s core audiences that would elevate their brand and increase awareness, but was something the in-house marketing team could effectively execute with current resources
Provided presentation coaching for the in-house marketing team to enable them to take a more prominent leadership role in the company and become more strategically aligned with its sales team
Updated the company’s digital marketing approach including the user experience and design of its website, social media content strategy and email campaigns
Provided business development support in the Dallas/Fort Worth market where the company didn’t have a full-time sales staff deployed yet
We were able to help the company establish new connections in DFW and ultimately, the interim CMO assignment completed with all tasks accomplished, new friendships established and a refreshed company marketing strategy.
